When you head out to the local Mexican restaurant in town, you probably imagine the sweet and refreshing taste of one thing to go along with your meal: a margarita.

So, when it comes time to order in from a taco catering service in Los Angeles, you need to make sure you have the best margaritas to go along with them. If almost 234 million Americans cooked Mexican food for their own fiestas in 2016 (at least, I’d like to imagine Mexican food makes everything feel like a party), you’ll be sure to find a margarita recipe that will please all of your guests.

Your taco party won’t fall short with these three delicious margarita recipes.

1. Classic Margarita

A classic is a classic for a reason, and that includes this straightforward margarita. This recipe is even considered the original. Trust me, the maker of the margarita would roll over in their grave if they knew you ordered a taco catering service without having margaritas prepared. Your guests will love sipping on this while they walk up and down your taco bar.

Ingredients:

-1 oz Cointreau

-2 oz Blanco tequila

– 1 oz fresh lime juice

Directions:

Step 1: Combine ingredients with ice in shaker

Step 2: Shake it (like your mother gave it to you)

Step 3: Strain into a salt-rimmed glass over ice and serve with a lime

2. Cucumber Jalapeno Margarita

Add a spicy drink to go with your spicy Mexican dishes. As a strong ingredient in Mexican food, the jalapeno will add just enough bite to get you up and salsa dancing. The cucumber calms down the taste for those with weaker palates. This recipe has a few extra steps, but trust me, the taste makes it all worthwhile.

Ingredients:

-2 oz Tequila

-1/2 cup of Sugar

-1/4 cup of Cilantro

-1 sliced Jalapeno

– 1/4 cup Water

-3/4 oz Triple Sec

-1/4 cup Lime Juice

-2 Large Cucumbers

Directions:

Step 1: Simple Syrup. Combine these tasty ingredients into a sauce pan: cilantro, jalapeno juice, sugar, water, and lime juice. Bring it to a boil and stir to dissolve the sugar. As it boils, reduce heat and let it simmer for a couple of minutes. Remove the mixture from heat, strain the jalapeno and cilantro and chill it in the fridge.

Step 2: Cucumber Juice. Blend and puree the sliced cumbers. Muddle the puree through a strainer to get all the cucumber juice. Refrigerate until it’s nice and cool.

Step 3: Combine tequila and triple sec with 3/4 oz of simple syrup and 3/4 oz of cucumber juice in a shaker with ice and shake.

Step 4: Strain into salt rimmed over ice and serve with a cucumber slice.

3. Cranberry Orange Margarita

This fruity take on the classic margarita will cool you right down after your trip with the jalapeno cucumber marg. This drink goes down smoothly as it keeps you chill on a hot summer night.

Ingredients:

– 1 3/4 oz silver tequila

– 3/4 oz orange juice

– 1 oz cranberry juice

-1/2 oz orange liqueur

Splash of lime juice

Directions:

Step 1: Combine all ingredients in a shaker

Step 2: Add ice and shake

Step 3: Strain into sugar-rimmed glass over ice and serve with an orange.

No matter what taste you’re looking for with your taco catering service, one of these drinks will be sure to pair well with your tasty tacos. Just remember: drink responsibly!
